Daniel Lloyd
GCN Show Presenter
Dan Lloyd was a professional road cyclist for over 10 years, racing for teams such as the Cervélo Test Team (which never seems to get mentioned much) and Garmin-Cervélo. He raced and completed the Giro d'Italia on two occasions and the Tour de France in 2010. In 2012 he rode for the IG Sigma Sport team while also combining commentary for ITV4, Eurosport, the BBC, and Rai.
After a memorable interview where he reportedly drank the rest of the GCN team under the table, Dan Lloyd became the lead presenter for the Global Cycling Network.[1] He is a familiar face, offering insight and analysis on the biggest races in the cycling world.
Lloydy regularly hosts the weekly GCN Show and the GCN Racing News show. When he is not providing his expert opinion on cycling, he enjoys visiting local pubs to analyse their beer selections.
Dan's been with us here at GCN since pretty much the beginning, and to prove it here's a classic video where he reveals a little more about himself.
