Palace is back making moves in the cycling world with its latest partnership with Brompton
Iconic folding bike manufacturer Brompton has announced today that it has partnered with skateboarding and streetwear brand Palace to release a special edition C Line bike.
Palace is no stranger to the world of cycling with the brand famously designing a limited edition kit for EF Pro Cycling for the 2022 Tour de France. Although not quite as bold as that kit, the brand has found itself back in the cycling sphere with this latest collaboration.

"Brompton has collaborated with London-based streetwear brand Palace to release a limited-edition bike designed to reflect modern, urban street culture," the brand said in a press release announcing the bike, which will launch on 10 May.
"Combining Brompton’s innovative engineering with Palace’s culture-defining style, the bike has a striking glow stick yellow and disco silver paint fade, reflective features, and exclusive Place Skateboard branding."

The bike is available in what the brands are calling 'glow stick yellow and disco silver' fade colourway
The Brompton bike that acts as the canvas for this creation is the C Line Urban, a two-speed, steel folding bike designed specifically for the needs of a city rider.
The limited edition bike takes some of the known and loved features of the C Line range and puts a distinctly ‘Palace’ twist on them, with a branded saddle and a Palace x Brompton pouch. The pouch is made with Cordura fabric and features reflective patterning to aid visibility when riding after dark. The bike also features a Palace Skateboards laser-etched licence plate and comes with a Palace x Brompton cardboard bike box.
Explaining the decision to pursue this collaboration with the iconic skate brand, a spokesperson from Brompton said: “Palace Skateboards are as iconic as they come. We know them for cutting-edge design, and pushing the limits of what’s possible with product and storytelling, so it was a no-brainer to collaborate."

"Seeing their unique lens on our product, and world of two wheels, has brought a new kind of energy to our iconic folding bike."
If you want to own one of these limited edition folding bikes yourself they will be firstly available from Palace Skateboards on 10 May, going on sale from Brompton a week later on May 17. For priority access ahead of the release you can sign up via the Brompton website.
